About Pre-University Course (PUC)

Pre-University Course under PUE Board Karnataka Comprises of two years namely

PUC I Year
PUC II Year

Students need to select between different streams of studies offered by PUE Board Karnataka and the college.

Different Streams offered are Arts, Commerce & Science

Above streams have a variety of subject combinations to suit the goals and capabilities of the students.

At Peopletree Pre-University College Students are offered PUC with Commerce Stream.

PTeS believes in giving reasonable access to students to approach faculty members as it is very essential for students during this two year as it is Turning point of their life.

PTeS welcome students to join for PUC Commerce Program with Education 4.0.
Peopletree Pre-University College is offering PUC+ under Education 4.0 which includes:
CA Foundation,Tally,Soft-Skill Training,Assistance for IBPS Clerical Courses
Besides regular subjects offered in PUC Commerce

Objectives

This Course helps the students’ fraternity by taking to industrial visits by interaction with experts from the industry.

Eligibility

Students passing Karnataka SSLC / ICSE / CBSE or any recognized equivalent examinations are eligible for admission to the Pre University Course.

PUC II YEAR

Orientation Program

Orientation program (Virtual) was conducted for the newly admitted PUC IYear students of our college on 03.11.2020. Prof. Vishwanath S Patil, Principal, PTeS -PUC oriented the students about the college, work culture, academic activities, fests, events, sports, and other facilities in brief.

Rangoli Competition

On 25.01.2021 on the eve of 72^nd Republic Day celebration Rangoli competition was organized in the college for the students. Many PUC students took active participation in the competition.

Fresher’s Party

The Fresher’s Party was organized by the PUC II year students for the PUC I year students on 08.02.2021. Many fun games and activities like Pick and Dance, Selfie Welfie, Tornado, Ramp walk & Group dance were organized for the PUC I Year students.

Orientation Program

Debate competition

Debate competition was organized for the PUC students on the topic “Corona – Good or Bad” on 27.02.2021. PUC students took active participation in the competition and expressed their view point on the corona pandemic. Prof. Jyoti Savanur was the event coordinator.

Speech Competition

Speech competition on the topics ‘Importance of Education in India’, ‘Pollution’ and ‘My Favorite Personality’ was organized for PUC students on 17.03.2021. PUC students took active participation in this competition and expressed their view point on the topics. Prof. Abhay Neoge and Prof.Shruti Acharaya were the judges. Prof.Dimple Mishra was the event coordinator.

Business Plan Development Competition – ‘Business Tycoons’

Business plan making competition ‘Business Tycoons’ was held in the college for PUC I & II year students on 20.03.2021. Total 4 groups consisting of 6 students each in a group participated in this competition. Each group presented their Business plan through power point presentation, templates, cards, banners. Prof. Dimple Mishra and Prof. Abhay Neoge coordinated the event. Prof. Latha Hiremath, Principal, PTeS, Prof. Avinash Akki, HOD, BCA Dept. were the judges for the competition.
