About the Program:

Bachelor of Commerce is an extension of PUC Commerce after PUC II year or equivalent examinations. This program offers under graduate studies in commerce subjects for students aspiring to pursue a career in commerce field like trade, business, banking and finance.

Objectives:

1.The BCOM Program trains the students on wide range of managerial skills and in various streams like Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Taxation, Insurance and Management.
2.This Program incorporates training and practical experience, in the form case studies, presentations, internships, industrial visits, fests, workshop and interaction with experts from the industry.
3.The Programs give exposure to students in Entrepreneurship for their Start-Ups.
4. The Program trains the students in verticals like in Investor Market, Management Information System (MIS) and SAP.
5.The Program gives pre-placement training for helping the students to get Campus Placements from Placement Cell.

Induction Program

Induction session (Virtual) was organized for the B.Com Iyear students by Prof. Shruti Acharya.She inducted the newly admitted B.Com first semester students about the college work culture, academic activities, fests, events, sports and other facilities in brief.

Rangoli Competition

On 25.01.2021 on the eve of 72^nd Republic Day Celebration Rangoli competition was organized in the college for the students. Many B.Com students took active participation in the competition. Ms. Priya Sutar – B.Com III Sem won First Prize, and Ms. Tejaswini Sutar – B.Com – III Sem won – Third Prize in the competition.

Webinar session on Financial Awareness Program

Zoom webinar session on ‘Financial Awareness Program’ was organized for the B.Com students by Centre for Investment Education and Learning, in association with BSE Investor Protection Fund on 16.02.2021. Mr. Suhas Rajput, Speaker from Bombay Stock Exchange was the resource person. In the session the resource person informed the students about the stock market functions, capital investment available in shares and securities in brief.

Orientation Program (Arambh)

Orientation session (Virtual) was organized for the B.Com Iyear students on 25.11.2020. Prof. Shruti Acharya oriented the newly admitted B.Com first semester students about the college work culture, academic activities, fests, events, sports and other facilities in brief. Prof. Vishwanath Patil, HOD, B.Com interacted with the students and also provided them the details of the B.Com course.

Virtual Voting Rights Awareness Program

Virtual Voting Rights Awareness Program was organized for the B.Com students from 21.12.2020 to 23.12.2020. Many competitions like Essay Writing, Painting, and Video Making were organized for the students based on the theme significance of voting rights in democracy.

National Voters’ Day Celebration

National Voters’ Day was celebrated on 25.01.2021. Prof. Lata Hiremath, Principal, PTeS briefed the students about the objectives behind celebration of National Voter’s Day celebration in India. The B.Com students took “Voter’s Pledge” on this occasion. Prof. Vishwanath S Patil, HOD, B.Com administered Voter’s Pledge to the students.

Parent – Teacher Meet

Parents – Teacher Meet was organized in the college for B.Com students from 03.03.2021 to 05.03.2021. In the meeting the parents interacted with the Principal, HOD, lecturers about their ward’s academic performance, class room attendance etc.
